Something I loved about this session was that they waited to do it. Little miss Hazel wasn't quite a newborn before we were scheduling photos so we waited until she was a few months older. Yes, the sleepy baby photos and tiny toes photos are super presh in the early days, but don't count out how sweet it is to see (and capture) their sweet face light up now their personality has connected with yours. Nor the fact that you have some new (and hopefully less groggy) memories. Family walks. Parks. Strolls to the local coffee shop. Which side-note, I grew up in Oak Park, and they did not have a trendy legit coffee spot on every corner back then. We thought we had arrived when we got a Caribou Coffee. (: (Which don't get me wrong, is delish. They're not there anymore) Anyway. the point of photos is to capture life. Life didn't stop at newborn photos. So glad I got to spend a little piece of life for this fam.
