I don’t care if it’s just the two of you in the backyard with your favorite brews and lawn chairs. I don’t care if it’s a destination wedding in the most exotic places on earth. Mmmm…ok. Maybe I care about that one. (Please call me.). I don’t care if you have the most extravagant of the extravagant dripping off every aspect of your big day. What gets my heart racing, and my camera clicking’ extra is when it’s genuine.

You likely won’t remember most details of how your wedding looked. (That is unless I’m your photographer. I’m obsessed with capturing details.) You will however greatly and intimately remember how it made you feel.

Sam & Cootie…your wedding was unbelievably stunning. Like stop me in my tracks even after 16 years and hundreds of weddings stunning! But it didn’t take me even a second to know your wedding would not only be beautiful (which gosh it was!! ) but also genuine. When you would speak of one another it wasn’t superficial. There was a deep love and respect for each other. A love that that didn’t need affirmation from the world, but a foundation on God. When your friends and family spoke of your love, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. (Make that Palmer House!) There was such pride in the way they spoke of both your immense talents, but also your character. What I most loved to see was that though you both are so grounded, you were absolutely the life of your own party! And what a party it was!!! From Sparkler blasts, to an absolutely packed dance floor.(Of which you were at the front!) Not to mention Cootie putting her All Star legit basketball skills to the test with a 2 story, off the balcony, over the band, bouquet toss! Things were done BIG!

Wishing you guys all the genuine, fun, and big love you can possibly imagine; for a lifetime! So happy for you!!
