We recently went out to eat at a diner and upon leaving I did my usual once over to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. Phone...Keys...Kid's sippy...and as I scanned the table I saw the bill total be a number I wasn't expecting. My first mental though was: "How was that possible!?" But it took a mere second to realize that my husband unannounced was intentional with what was left. He does this often. I've seen plenty of waitresses gets such high tip stories on social media. And the irony is the poster of the story is usually the person who tipped! (oui vey). My husband would never say anything. Shoot, he doesn't even say it to me and I'm at the same table. But what I love about his gesture is that what no one else sees, God does. Doing it at all is good, but doing it for intentionally no recognition is honorable.

There's a lot of layers to Brian & Becca. Things that are so evidently to those around them as being good. But truly, the more depth I got to know amidst vulnerable answers to my questions, the more I can say these two for no show or recognition, they are honorable!

Brian & Becca, what a refreshing privilege it was to be able to capture your wedding. Your love and respect for each other and for the Lord aren't boastfully broadcasted, but are lived out in both big and small ways. Surely, these foundations you've set for your marriage will be wonderful cornerstones to build upon. Excited to see what the future holds for you! Congrats!!
