CHICAGO PLANETARIUM + FULLERTON BEACH PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT! MELISSA MARIE PHOTOGRAPHY: JONATHAN + EMILY

I remember the day of photographing Emily + Jonathan's wedding she told me to come back the next day to (kid and all) to join in the post-wedding pool party BBQ. Generally, that's just a really nice gesture, and we move on. Well, Emily is the type of person who actually means it. She got me (her photographer) a personalized bridesmaid gift. She's gotten me a thoughtful gift for each of my pregnancies and from every trip she's been on since knowing me. She even bought & had shipped a gift basket (okay, more like a crate) full of items from the local food artisans of the area they honeymooned in so that those in Italy who had been so severely impacted by the pandemic could make some needed income. (And then of course, she gifted some to me!) When we were melting during their engagement photos, Jonathan did a u-turn to get Emily + I some gelato to cool off. These are the type of people they are. Some of the most generous hearted people you'd ever meet.

And that's absolutely the kinda parents they'll be. Thoughtful. Generous. Kind. And really dang fun! So excited for you guys!!!
