A Feast of Love (and Pizza!) at Boxing Burlap, Delavan, WI

Some weddings just hit different. And this one at Boxed and Burlap in Delavan, Wisconsin hit the trifecta of my foodie heart: woodfired pizza, artisan donuts filled with wedding cake frosting (yes, you read that right, they're hard to find and heaven on a plate when you do), and the best coffee around inside the sweetest coffeehouse: Boxed and Burlap.

The saying is: "You are what you eat" from the very first read of their vision—coffee, pizza, and donuts—I immediately thought: Okay, these are my people. 😂 This was my dream menu come to life (minus the reality that I have to eat a little differently these days 😆). But if someone dropped this lineup in front of me, I’d call it perfection.

And then… the pizza. Flour Girl and Flame brought their woodfired magic, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Here’s the kicker—it was gluten, egg, and dairy free! I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working with, but it’s unreal how good it is. I’m still dreaming about it.

Our bellies were as full as the dance floor! The only time the bride stepped away was to change into pajamas and slippers so she could keep dancing in total comfort. Again… my kind of people. ❤️😂

Every moment of this day at Boxing Burlap was what they said from the beginning they wanted it to be: "A celebration." . And maybe that’s the real secret recipe for the perfect wedding: a mix of good food, great coffee, and a couple who knows how to savor it all—together.
