Leading up to delivering my 2nd born, I increasingly was sad. I was obviously so excited to meet our little one, but the awareness that it was no longer going to be just me and my first born was heavy for me. I was sad in anticipation that a lot of the things I got to do with my first, which I loved, were going to now be done with dad. Wait, aren't the little siblings supposed to be jealous? Not mom? (: So as much as newborn photos are about the newest addition, I love capturing moments of parents interacting with their first born. Little moments of affirmation that they do in fact have plenty of love to go around. (:

It helps that today's older sibling is an absolute love-bug and adores her new little brother. Congrats you guys. I'm always smitten with your kid(s)! I can now say that plural! (:
