When the road you've waited to travel is much much harder than you ever dreamed or anticipated, the "little things" actually are big things. The milestones that many take for granted are now the glue of gratefulness holding your heart together.

Emily & Jonathan, you've had a year that some don't even endure in a lifetime. And yet, you've traveled it together. I often say that my favorite part of photos is that they stop time on the moments we most don't wish to end. I know there were many many moments you wished would end. So I hope you look upon your maternity images, and now your photos of sweet Grayson, and see that miracles do happen! And may each milestone from here on out be ones filled with great accomplishment, joy, and reminders that you (and that sweet boy of yours) are so loved!
