I'm gonna call this my unexpected wedding. Obviously, we didn't expect to completely change dates, years, and location for this wedding day. But oh my...the part that she got to still have, her wedding at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wadsworth. The place she went to school at growing up. The place where my jaw literally dropped the moment I walked in. If you follow me on social media, you know I tend to have an liking or a uh....ok...an obsession with midcentury. And this church has got to be the coolest looking one I've EVER stepped foot in. Then to head back to her family's home for the reception. Where I pulled back the black garbage bag tarped door (tarped to keep it a surprise from the bride) to the most unexpectedly beautiful intimate dinner setting for the bride and groom & their immediate family. Plated with silverware and crystal from their parents weddings. How sweet is that!? The guests mingled in the backyard with freshly made brick oven pizzas and sparkling icy cocktails, while the bride & groom ate a fine dining meal just them inside. Oh how I loved this day. Can't wait to celebrate again with ya'll next year!
