After Libby put on her wedding dress, she gave the biggest grin while looking down at it. “It’s been two years. I finally get to wear it.” I’ve always loved my couples (I truly think I have the best!) but it didn’t dawn on me that was why this wedding season felt different. A lot of my couples this season, we’ve been together for a couple years now. And to finally have their day happen for them, and to be the one that gets to capture it happening in all its anticipatory glory was/is so beyond me. I’m just so humbled and ecstatic to be able to do it! I sure as heck hope to still get to capture everyone’s life milestones cuz I’m pretty dang attached at this point.

Cole & Libby, ya’ll are pure joy! Thank you for entrusting me for your backyard first wedding. And thank you for sticking it out till we got you your big one. And mostly, thank you for being you. Cliche’? Maybe. But you guys are really something special. The fact that your group of friend's made you a lifetime scrapbook was just one of many evidences that I'm not the only one to think so. Loved every minute of capturing this journey for you guys!
