BRILLIANT DETAILS I Had Never Seen Before

It's all in the details, and this gorgeous fall wedding at Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook had some that hadn't seen before that I just love! The bride saved a large swatch of her bridesmaids’ dress fabric specifically for her wedding day detail photos.

No needing to borrow someone’s dress.

No risk of wrinkling it.

No trying to remember exactly where I pulled it from so they know which dress is theirs.

Instead, I could uniquely incorporate this beautiful piece of fabric right into her detail shots. It tied everything together so perfectly and reflected the exact colors of the wedding day. It made the entire flat-lay process smoother, more intentional, and even more beautiful. I absolutely loved that she thought to do this, and I would one hundred percent recommend it to future brides. It is such a small detail that makes a huge impact in your wedding gallery. Truly, Look at the images above, anything with a terracotta color in the back is literally just a fabric swatch.

That thoughtful creativity carried all the way through the day. One of the most meaningful reception details was how each table number was paired with a childhood photo of the bride and groom at that same age as the table number itself. Table 5 featured photos from when their sweet little five years old faces, table 16 were the faces of kids learning to drive. Each stop around the room quietly told part of their story. Through and through, the creative details were everything for this wedding.
