It was absolutely storming on my drive to Ryan & Kristine's engagement session. It was still raining pretty good when I pulled in, and had the last sprinkle by the time I got out of the car. We had no other choice but to try. To power through. The results were more than what would have been the best case scenario of what we originally hoped. Since it stormed there literally wasn’t anyone there and the sky was felt like a surreal painting; Creating the perfect setting for their nature/fishing inspired e-sesh.

I’d say I’m so glad we didn’t cancel but we didn’t really have another choice based on our schedules. How many times are our backs against the wall so to speak and the options are to quit or at least try to push through? How many times do we miss the better than best case scenario because we pulled up before the finish line?

I’ve had a lot of those decisions over these past few weeks. But I love this reminder even for myself, and in a much deeper way for our world.
