Remember mood rings? The color would change based on “what mood” the color was? I feel like florals are the mood ring of weddings. The minute I saw the florals for this wedding, I said: “These are so joyful!” The bride said: “Perfect! I was going for happy.” And that they were! My DM’s haven’t gone so wild over florals in awhile. Each message saying variations & affirmations of how cheerful the blooms were.

Goodness knows I say all the time: "Your wedding isn't only about how it looks, it's about how it feels." The colors of your wedding are more than just what's trending on Pintrest. They're subtle cues as to how you want your guests to feel. So think beyond the season of your wedding, think beyond what's "cute" or popular. And rather start with what feeling do I want our day to have? (That's literally one of the first questions I'll ask you. Because again, the coloring of your photos will help set that tone.) The only thing that made me happier on Paul & Natasha's big day was her sister's MOH speech. Legit, one of the funniest I've ever heard! Paul & Natasha, Thanks for sharing one of the happiest days in your life with me! Your love and respect for each other shines even brighter than your florals! (:
