For those of you who follow me on Insta (@Melissamariephoto) and especially see my Insta stories you know I have a few obsessions. Coffee. Donuts. & Real Estate. Possibly more than any other "hobby" I check out pretty much any home that's on the market within Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, or Michigan. The other day, my sister-in-law (Who is a fab realtor) mentioned she knew of a listing that "looked like me" on a lake. I said: "What town? Oh...You mean this?" Uh. Yep. that was the one. Some houses catch my attention for the house itself. Some for the hidden gem potential. And some are for the property. Matt & Gail (a previous bride + groom of mine) hit several markers of why their place is so awesome, we could skip the fancy gardens and just photograph their sweet daughter's 1st birthday in their yard. Their home is stunning. Their property is like a movie set. And their patio/pool....I would buy the place if even for just that!
Couldn't have asked for a better spot to intermittently pop out for photos in-between downpours of a storm. And we for sure couldn't have done better than with little miss Iyla! She is the most easy going little doll! She must get it from her parents. (: They're laid back, super sweet, and have transitioned into being parents seemingly seamlessly! Happy 1 year miss Iyla!
